Any of you guys running fuel injection?

I need a tank to go between the rails of a 68 frame. The motor I am using is a 98 LS1 and I need a fuel injected fuel pump and tank. Any ideas?

I wanted an in-tank solution for my EFI also. When I purchased a new stock steel tank for my Blazer I had it shipped to Rock Valley in Illinois. They did a great job modifying the tank to accept an in-tank Walbro fuel pump. That was a cheaper route for me than the SS tanks you can get at EC, Brothers, etc...

It is an in tank unit that is adjustable for depth and has a "baffle" to keep the pump fed.

yup, smokekiki... that's essentially the same unit I'm running w/ baffle... I had remembered seeing the Tanks Inc unit somewhere in one of my street rod magazines. When it finally came time to install... I couldn't find it so I decided to let Rock Valley install their version.

the tanks out of 88-91 blazers will fit just need a few mods to your frame xmembers these are efi tanks and can use stock in tank pumps from tpi cars.

Keep in mind a TPI or typical fuel injection pump will not supply enough pressure for a LS1. It will have to be a stock pump meant for a LS1 or a aftermarket unit.

Try Rock Valley Antique Auto Parts. They built my tank out of stainless steel with the TPI pump in the tank. I am running an LT-1 and getting ready to build a truck with a LS1 and plan to use them again.

Rock Valley

Is the route I went also. It works great. But due to price, If I had to do it again, I would use fuel cell guy. I have heard only good things about him. My two cents, Kerry (LT1 in a 67 C10)

The pump insert in my tank is the TPI insert. The company makes all sorts, PM fuelcellguy, he can tell you for sure, but I am pretty sure he can set them up for an LS1.

Here is a link that someone posted that they put a new style camaro tank for the ls1 for his conversion.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ht=camaro+tank

I used a blazer tank and aeromotive inline pump.

Good luck
