My truck sounds like it has a nest of birds under the hood. but the bird sound goes away after the motor warms up. I tried the spray, it doesnt work for long. What can I do?

If you're sure it's the belt(s) and not a water/power steering pump or alternator - find the offending belt and replace it.

Depending on the condition of the pullys, you may need to replace them also, but start with the belts.

If your belts aren't dried out or cracked and your trying to get maximum maileage out of them, go to your local parts store and buy some stuff in a can called "Gaskacinch". It has a brush on applicator built into the lid and it's used as both a gasket sealer and belt dressing. Stuff works great.
