Is cutting the dash the best radio mounting option? I've looked into:
-Building a custom console (have a bench and it wouldn't look right) -Glove Box (it's hard to reach, rattles when open and reduces passenger leg room) -Custom Autosound (overpriced and never heard much good of it) Looks like cutting the dash might be in my near future.

Well at this moment the VHS case, and a steady hand is looking like what is going to happen.
Radio delete plate would be ok,I would have to cut the plate, and then tack weld it in,and I'm still not sure I would like the look when it was done. Hinged plate would be a pain in the arse to change CDs,and I don't think it would work with a fold down front like some CD players have. But it is a clean look. Muddpile,I prolly would not have cut the dash,I'm a purist no matter how hard I try not to be.I would have went with an under the seat cd changer, and a head unit with the posts in the dash, but it was already mutilated,so I didn't see any sense in not putting the player in the dash, now I have to make it look good.
