Moon wheel question
Hi. My brother is expressing interest in buying a 67-71 Chev pickup but wants the truck to have "baby moon" rims. He is wanting the type with no slots on the rim and I was wondering if this would cause problems with heat buildup. Every other rim I can recall seeing (with the exception of Centerline "Auto-Drag" series) has some type of opening on it, is this to let cool air into the brake area? Will running moons be a problem? Thanks.

I only see 2 problems with baby moons. the heat thing wont be a problem except if it is disc brakes & driven in heavy stop & go traffic.
the other is rust. mine didnt last 4 months. if they were available in a polished stainless or very good quality chrome (not from China) I would get some in a heartbeat.
