Full time axle?

Would the front axle off of a 77 blazer without lockout hubs be a full time four wheel drive axle? It has caps on it like wheel bearing hub caps with no screws or bolts holding them on. What could I do to put lockout hubs on this axle, do I need a conversion kit also? The axle is in a truck with an NP205 transfer case in it, but the truck was built from various other parts trucks so I don't know what I need to put the lockouts on it. thanks chris

The smoooth cap is full time hubs. The 205 is a part time case if thats for sure what it is. If the case is a 203 u will need a conversion kit to make it part time along with the lock out hubs.

Yep, no hubs=full-time, all you need is a set of hubs to put in there.

I always wondered for a nearly all off-road truck if the full-time hub thingys would be stronger than locking hubs.
