L/F Pic of a stock 4x4 with 33x12.50/10.50x15

Would also like to know what rim size you are using and its backspace if possible. I was looking through tirerack and they claim a 10.50 tire will not fit on a 10" rim, is that true? Anyone care to explain? Would like to see this tire without a lift on the truck.

I've had plenty of 33/12.50-15s mounted on stock 8" ralleys no problem. Also have had 32/11.50-15s mounted on stock 7" wheels. Sorry, no pic right now but I don't know what they're talking about!

edit: Forgot to mention, I mounted 33/12.50-15s on stock 8" ralleys at stock height on my old '72 Blazer. Definitely filled up the wheels wells. They fit but rubbed a little making sharp turns. Only had them on a short while before I installed a 4" lift.

Here's a pic of my '71 4x4 with stock spring height and 6 lug rallye wheels running 31x10.50x15's on it. Need to take another pic as since this one was taken I installed new springs on the rear but maybe it will give you an idea. New springs are on the front at time of pic.

I would not run a 10.5" tire on a 10" wide wheel, bead with let go EASY.

And if you run a 15x10 with no lift your going to rub, you need a 15x8 with about 3.75-4" BSing and you can clear them.

I'm running 33x12.5" tires on 15x8 with 3.75" BSing with 1-ton 3 leafers in the front.

A 10.5 tire will fit on a 10 inch rim but it is not a good idea--it tends to make the tire wear faster in the middle.

I agree, but Destructo, we're talking about the thread starter's '70 K10 that has much more big-tire-friendly fender openings than 73-87s. Apples & oranges.
