I hear ya, my wife had what was supposed to be a truck with less than $2500 in it when finished. Them came the ZZ-3, new L-460, new front fenders, new step fenders, custom stitched seat, new bumpers, Barry Grant carb, new tailgate and front bed panel, Painless wiring, Flowmasters, electric fan, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. It sure is bad though.

Hey Randy, I'll second that your wife's truck sure it bad, that thing sounded mean for even the 30 seconds I heard it run. Now if if only sounded as badass as my 6 cylinder, LOL. 69 Longhorn, I can somewhat relate, my free truck has wound up costing me about half what it's worth to get it on the road and it still needs some minor things to be more reliable. Granted nothing like what you've spent, but the same concept, just on a MUCH smaller scale.

We can pull 4 of your plug wires and make it sound like my Harley.

I usually hate 6 cylinder engines with loud exhaust, and mine does sound like s&%t with a header and turbo mufflers, but I can't help but make a lot of noise when I drive it. It is a pretty healthy 6, so I can't resist. It would take pulling 4 plug wires for your either of your Harley's to keep up with the truck, yeah that's the ticket, LOL!

That gives me an itch I can't afford to scratch yet

Nothing like blowing down the hiway with the speedo wrapped back to "0"
I tried it in the ol stocker, but ran out of hiway.
