63 GMC interchange question

I'm looking at a 63 GMC w/rusted fenders & doors. Before I consider buying this I'd like to know if Chev body parts will interchange? Thanks,

There are minor trim differences, but the only big difference is the hood. The Chevy hood will fit, but it's made different at the park lamps. And of course the tailgate has different letters stamped on it, but they will swap.

The GMC dashes are totally different than the chevrolets, GMC's have leaf springs on 63-66's, tailgates, trim, grille, hood, engine, eletrical system under dash, and steering column.

I almost forgot, the hood latch assemblies are different between Chevrolet & GMC's.
