front end alignemnt

Who do you take your 67-72 too?

Every time I ask a front end shop they tell me, "Our computer only goes back to 73 or so." I'm thinking, "who cares!" I used to work in a front end shop. Notice i said i worked in one didn't mean i worked on the front ends. The place i used to work at had an old man that was baout 65 and didn't use a computer. just a bar with two AU spikes on it and some chalk.

What do you guys do to get your front end lined up?

thanks sswj

I've never had good luck with the big name shops myself. There was an old man I took it to in my home town that worked out of his garage and just used chalk as well. Charged me half what the big guys charged and did it in half the time. Heck he even explained to me exactly what he did and where his problems were. Nothing like the good ol boys

I went to a shop here in town. They've been around since the early 70's the front end guy there owns a '71 so he took care my "newer" '72 with no problem..
Just for grins I called around and most places wouldn't even look at my ol' ride..
