What would u pay???

I've live in the town i live in now for 5 years and when i moved here i went for a ride and spotted a bone stock 71 or 72 chevy sittin under a fir tree in a guys yard with grass up to its axles the rust was there wasn't any it was really straight but i figured it was a project or something so i never went into any farther so five years later i went for another ride and there it was hasn't moved an inch so im goin to look into it the exterior is awesome no surface rust the paint has done its job the interior from what i saw was decent no rust the seat was just eaten by mouse couldn't tell if it still has an engine in it but i believe it does would have run the vin# but i couldn't read it dont have any pictures but the exterior is cherry i'm trying to contact the owner and see if its for sale i just want some opinions on what u would pay with what options and tranny engine combo such as a I6 and a manual and or a 402 and a 350 also what options would make it go up in value after all my rambling on all i want to know is what u would pay with and without engine and what combos would bring more money im in WAshington State

Welcome to the board, if there's no rust does that mean your on the dry side of the cascades? If you post your location maybe another member could hook up with you and take a look. There are so many different details that it would be hard to price a truck sight unseen. Take a camera with you when you go and write down the option list & vin, then re-post and together we'll see if you can get a fair deal.

We'll asume it isn't runing or driveable. If he can't get it started for you, then it isn't running IMO....I'd start at 300 bucks if it is complete, but (asuming I had the cash) I'd be willing to pay closer to 700...a little more if it is a short/step.

something that hasn't moved in 5 years?? i'd start by trying to have him pay me to remove it for him, after that i'd start in the $50range
