Talking I actually did something today!

For once.

After dropping the GMC's quadrajet off to be rebuilt I decided to tinker on the Blazer. I actually managed to get it to crank with a plastic gas can and some temp. wiring.
I replaced all of the rubber fuel lines, dropped the tank and emptied the varnished gas out of it. Tomorrow gonna reinstall the tank and do a little more wiring to see if it will move under it's own power!

Good news Krue. Don't rev it too bad you might loose some more body if it vibrates too much at this point

Glad to hear it thought. Pretty soon no getting stuck at the new home front.

Did you find the HEI or still with stock distributor.??

BTW if the engine in this thing works out (sounds good so far) when you gonna come get this engine to get your 82 going?

Just let me know and I'll find my way there. I may need help after the left turn past where the old tree fell next to the barn that burnt down.
