Lights flickering....Can I say "flickering"?
Ah well...anyway. My 1971 truck's lights get kind of dim at idle and flicker like crazy. I have replaced the voltage regulator on it in the past but this is something that has since started. I have heard stories of ground problems and the like...Any simple things to check without replacing the obvious...alternator, voltage regulator...etc... Thanks

Mine did that the other day after I removed the B&M floor shifter & hooked up the stock column shifter. I added a ground wire from the engine to the cab & fixed it. For a quick test, hook some jumper cables between the two (on bare metal areas like the master cylinder, etc) & see if it goes away.
