glove box door stop hitting a/c hose
i have a question about my glove box door stop and i was hoping for some help. i purchased and installed a door stop the other day, but when i go to close the door the stop hits the a/c hose. the hoses are new and were installed by the po. there is not much room here and the hose seems to be routed properly, but somethings not right. the stop hits the hose on the top side almost where it connects to the vent outlet.
does anyone have any pictures of how their a/c hoses are routed on the passenger side? was there more than one style of door stop? this is the hard metal style. there doesn't seem to be any other way to route the hose as space is very tight in there. any help would be apprieciated. thanks

there was only one style arm/stop...my guess is that the replacement hose isn't long enough and/or routed properly. I never had a problem on my old A/C truck.

I've got the same problem with my truck. I bought a 16" duct from advanced auto and it's too short. I think if I had a 24" duct, it could "wrap" around the arm/stop. I haven't been able to find one that's the right size just yet. Anyone else have any luck?

i wish i'd have taken pictures before i put the glove box insert in. it is very tight in there. the only thing i can think of is that the duct hose is routed wrong. lokks like i'll spend a little time this weekend trying to figure this one out.

Here are 2 pics of my how my a/c hose routes. My door arm stop does not hit the a/c hose. Hope this helps. I bought the a/c hose kit with the factory lengths already precut for like 40 bucks.
