Pictures of Aluminum Wheels

I have still not decided on which type of wheel to put on my 1970 Black CST. I am leaning towards Centerline Wheels that are solid with the rivets. Does anyone have some good pictures of those or other types of wheel on this type of truck.

Also, I will ordering 15"x8" all around. Any imput on back spacing?

Thanks

Jason

Here is what my truck came with from PO. Not a huge fan of these...but I didn't pay to have them installed.

Backspacing

I'm also in the process of buying some new wheels for my 1968. I have chosen to stick with 15x8. The backspacing I will be getting will be either 4in or 3.625in. More than likely I will go with the 3.625in backspacing. I hope this helps.

I just bought some Polished Aluminum Tourqie Thrust wheels at a show over the weekend. I was gonna go with "Dubs" but I just couldn't do it. I stuck with 15X8 with the correct backspacing, I think he said 4". I got them for $600 shipped.

Im running 15x8.5 all around w/ 3.75 back space and they are perfect(c-10) to give you a idea.

Wide Tire Backspacing and Rim Choice

Putter: I am located in West Central Minnesota

Looks like somewhere around 3.75" backspacing is the recommended amount. I have flirted with putting 15 x 10" on the back. Not sure yet. I am nervious that the wheels would stick out too much. Anyone have imput?

I plan to put wide tires all around with wider tires on the back. In the old day language, I would put G60's on the front and G50's on the back. Not sure in today's numbers, I will need to measure. I want the tires to be beneath the truck as much as possible. 4" backspacing maybe?? Will they hit the front when turning. Maybe 3.75" on the front and 4" on the back. Any imput?

All the rims look cool, but I like the looks of centerline rims on the green blazer best. I plan to oder rims in a few weeks. More picutures and ideas would be great.

Make sure to check the centerline website www.centerlinewheels.com and go to wheel deals. Ive purchased 2 sets there at fantastic prices(shippings not bad either).
