1971 C10 come as stepside LWB?

I have seen pics online of some C10's that are LWB and a stepside for other years such as 1969. Does anyone know if a 71 comes this way also? Or do you know if the same bed from a 69 or 70 will fit a 71?

The reason I am asking is someone local to me has a 71 C10 LWB fleetside and I am considering buying it and converting it to a stepside.

Thanks!

yes...and yes

Let me be the first to welcome you to the best board on the web for the 67 - 72 trucks. What part of the world you in?
Not many ppl like the long step...most think it is butt ugly...I kinda like it mostly for freak value, but if I were to search for one, it'd be the one ton version with the 9 foot stepside bed.

Does anyone have a suggestion on where to look online for a bed replacement?

This is the biggest parts locator that i am aware of....go to the parts for sale page, and post a wanted to buy thread...I know of one in kentucky, but he'll never get rid of it...I know of another one in tx....same story though.
