Truck run through Texas - Austin to Lockhart
Anyone interested in a truck run??? Police escorted?? I participate in an annual fund raiser for kids who love hotrods. It's called Cruise for Kids.
Details on the drive from Austin to Lockhart. Once we arrive in Lockhart, we eat at this BBQ place and hang out for a while. The we go home all fed and happy. I have to work that Saturday, but if there is enough interest and trucks I'll show up BADBOW. It would give me a chance to drive the truck on a long cruise with the electric fan setup. Man if my truck looked like a hotrod or sports truck, I'd take you up on it. But a "Farm/Work truck" with surface rust won't cut it
 . Maybe next year after I put some elbow grease to it and get it right. Hell I'll drive from Dallas to my old town to trek south to get some BBQ for the sake of the kids entertainment. Maybe meet some of you on the board.  I'll see how it goes and look for this post next year.  JonnyTechMech

Mytruck is down now. A friend is about to rebuild the transmission, and I am replacing the flexplate. Too bad. Lockhart has some of the best Barbeque anywhere between Kreuz BBQ and Black's BBQ.
