I think I get it now...poked my head in my favorite shop the other and day and saw this. Excellent paint work but a little too much chop for me. The underside was just awesome...tubbed in the rear and a rack and pinion up front.

Sweet truck other than the chopped top. Did you notice that they welded the tailgate to the box and the roll pan, but didn't weld the front roll pan.

Looks great. Next time you're down there, can you get more info on the chopped top? How much chop ? Is it raked? etc...

All this current discussion on chopping tops had me out in the garage doing some measuring this afternoon

Re raked, I was referring to the front windshield being laid back. Raked usually refers to leaning something to a steeper angle... like motorcycle forks and windshields.
