I-6 Power Steering Pump Brackets
Anyone have a clue where I can get some I-6 Power Steering pump brackets? I Have located a sweet 68 and the first thing to go is the manual steering..Once it gets here I will shoot some pics, This is an awsome truck, only has 4 options on the glove door tag, No Radio, No Arm Rests, but has the orginal bill of sale from 68.....Company bought this one to move furniture....

I've got the same problem, but I'm waiting on it until I install a small block.
Power steering on an L-6 is a bit rare because these were base trucks. But...you can go to the wrecker and look for all the 6cyl Novas and Chevelle's that had power steering. Same engine, same brackets.

Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. '76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod. '68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect. '59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said. |

keep in mind 250 and 292 are different, Ive been looking for 292 stuff for over a year talk about rare!

from past experience it is best to start off looking for a Leprachaun riding a Unicorn while picking 4 leaf clovers to adorn his original rust free unmolested 67-72 GM truck. after all that is achieved then the brackets will magically appear by your front door while sleeping. (the miracle making fairies make the delivery).
I ended giving up & swapping to a small block. if you are persistent enough you may consider fabrication. just hit the bone yards for pieces of other brackets to use.
