your best bet is to get some shorty center dump headers. The traditional long tubes are a tough fit around the Z link for your clutch, trust me, I've tried!! I just went with center dump manifolds on my 350 / 3 spd combo and saved any headaches

I know I'm bringing up a super old thread. But it's an old truck. When you say tough fit, does that mean they still fit?

Found some Headman Long tube for $50.

Waiting for seller to give model number.

Cool, I'll look at them. I had ram's horns all wrong, I guess. I thought that meant OEM style. How do they sound?

I appreciate the reply. I only have 1 post, but I've been learning stuff, on the site, since November. The search is so good; I keep forgetting to say hi.
