smoothed firewall!!!
anyone have any pics of a smooth firewall.....will be smoothing mine in the future and needed some direction......

looks sweet... how did you cover up heater box holes..... I was thinking i could pop rivot a plate over it and bondo around it and paint it the same color as the truck like you did....

I welded in sheet metal to fill the holes. The only ones I left were for the master cylinder, steering column, and accelerator pedal.

Hobby67, That looks great! It looks like you have a heater and AC unit all mounted inside?? How did you do that and what did you use for boxes, hoses, etc?

Chevyfarmer, I used a Vintage Air (Gen II Campac) kit. The evaporator and heater are all in one small unit that fits under dash. Hoses and fittings are part of kit. Just cut hoses to fit and crimp on fittings. Its a little more work than that, but not formidable.
