No rear running lights - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Just replaced the rear wiring harness on 67 stepside and I have rear blinkers and brake lights but no running lights or license plate light. Any suggestions on what to try next?

The number one rule in diagnosing electrical problems is

Check your ground

Yep! Sounds like the ground to me too!!!! must have a clean light socket to make them work.....had the same problem with mine......had some paint in them.....
