tire and rim size, AGAIN....maybe spacers??

k, 69 gmc 1500 2wd, leafs (gmc). i have some 33x12.5s on the newer rallies (15x8s), and it looks like i got about 1/2 inch between the inside of the tire and the wheel well. im looking for new rims. btw(they never made 6 lug cragars did they?) but if i keep my 15 by 8 rallies what is the widest and tallest tire i can fit without any rubbing. 1/2 inch is too close right? can i put a spacer on or are those bad? if i cant, what is the widest biggest tire? what are you all running? hopefully i will find a set of 15 by 10 rims, cuz wide is cool, i dont really care what style of rim i get, just as long as they are chrome or polished aluminum. is there a place where i can buy new 15 by 10 6 lug rims that will fit without a spacer, and with some wide tires? like 275/65 would give a ton of room. ahh, to many thoughts. where do i go to find some 6 lug 15 by 10 chrome rims. i guess they can be bigger than 15, but that just adds to the cost. thanks, Ben
