I like the handle you have picked. I have Eaton in 4.10 out of a '72 4x4 I want to sell. Haven't tore into it to see if it's a posi or not. Tell us a little more about what your building/driving.

If things do not work out with clodhopper, I am in Texas and looking for a similar item. If anyone can better tell me how to ask for this please do, I need the complete pumpkin (third member) of a 67 to 72 from a 3/4 ton chevy/gm truck or van with automatic transmission. It should have the 4.10 gearing.
thanks to all
Dan

I got this laying in a shop.

4:10 ratio with detroit locker.

$300 complete or just for the locker

& shipping..I'd ship the locker alone free with a $300 offer.

The pic of the locker is one I already sold,..but there all the same. I have more than one.

The pics of the complete units I took today.

There coated with a protective long lasting spray coating.

In case no one knew where to look for the ratio...well there ya go.

"clodhopper" your email option is turned off in your board settings...you have chosen not to receive emails from members...I sent you a private message, you have that option selected.

Okay, here is the deal. I already have a highly modified C&C width eaton and a 70" wide stock eaton (from a van IIRC). They both have the proper gearing I need. Just searching for a detroit for one of them.

I am hesitant to describe the project as you will likely be disapproving. (shhh, it is a 72 early bronco rockcrawler.... shhh, don't tell anyone).

Ok....I guess I'll lay this out here.

I had 3 people interested initially once I posted that I had one, now 4.

It's coming down to a time line and certain criteria...who asked, who responded first, who seems comitted to buying it, would I lower price? ...shipping cost here --- shipping cost there..., will you seperate locker for less, that kinda questions.

Its going to take a bit, but I'll try to be fair.

I'd like you all to know that I have been dealing with you independently.

I dont sell much on the board but will be probably shortly selling more items. I gotta figure out how to handle it all fairly. I got asked quite a few questions and sometimes the responses are delayed...which you kinda have to expect. I answer some more questions and then wait for responses.

Looks like I dont have enough lockers to go around.

I'll figure it out yet.

Just in case one of you still needs one and Rod has sold all of his I have a Eaton locker from a 71 C20 it has 4:10 or 4:56 gears. I will check when there is a possible buyer.

Thanks,

Mario
