Blazer tank install in a 72 with....
Hello every one. I am new here. I am restoring a 1972 custom/10 LWB. I am not restoring to show quality, but to a daily driver and to be used as a truck. I am working on a low budget as most of us are.
I am going to ask an age old question here. What would be the best rout to get a fule inlet into the blazer tank on my 1972 with a 1967 bed on it. Would it be best to have a door welded in or would it be best to ad it behind the taillight and what are the best parts to use. Thanks Travis

It depends on what you want out of your truck. If you don't want to spend much time working on your truck and just want a clean look, then you could weld a door into your bed side. If you want to keep the original lines of the truck undesturbed then you should look at putting it behind the tail light or side marker light. Its all in what you want.
