Question Anybody have a picture of........

Can somebody direct me to a picture of the top plate that holds the front leaf springs onto the axle please?? If there aren't any pics on the Board right now, could one of you members that has a 71/72 4x4 please snap a pic of this plate and post it so I can show another member what I'm looking for. He might have some of these laying around and I need two of them.

Thanks for your help on this,
72longbed

Jim,
the closest pic that shows a spring plate is a shot of the front of your suspension and the plate doesn't show up because the leaf spring blocks it out.

Maybe if you get a chance you can take a pic from above the plate and post it for me? If you can that would be great, if not thats OK.

Thanks,
72longbed

Im not 100% sure but I think the only difference in the newer ones is the stabilizer bar mount. 73 and up.
Anybody else?

The other difference is the holes for the U-Bolts, Earlier Dana 44 axle tubes were 2 3/4" (1971 to 1975?) and the newer ones are 3"

Exclamation

Jim,
yes those are the plates. I got a set from GM72K10 the other day and meant to update all of the Threads on the Board. I guess this one slipped by me. Thank you for looking, I'm in the southwest end of PA near Valley Forge.

Thanks,
