Is this supposed to be here?
It's just a little strip of aluminum at the bottom of the tailgate.Is it supposed to be there,or did someone put it on?

my 70 chevy lwb came with bottom tailgate trim and this was factory trim.
there are holes across the bottom of the tailgate where it attached.
