How much do unrestored guage clusters usually sell for?
I found 2 in a junkyard yesterday, but didn't have time to get them on my lunch hour. 1 even had a vacumn gauge. One was on a c50 the other on a c60. No tach in either and no air pressure. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth it to go back for them.

The one with the vaccumm guage might be good to grab, especially if the guage face isn't rusty. I think I've seen those clusters going for between $50 & $75 w/ the vac. guage. The other one would be good for parts I guess. The C40/50/60 dashes I believe have an 80 psi Oil Press guage too. The gas guages are different than c10-30 dashes(red lights say"Tandem Lock" & something else) instead of the normal brake ect...

If you take them apart, clean them up and paint the needles, you could get a little more.

Neither were tadem axle trucks but the c60 had a 2 spd axle. Sounds like I might have to make trip back there. Fortunately the vacumn gauge one is right at the front, and very easy to get to.

You could probably sell the gauges for more than you bought the entire gauges for. I think the bezels are different on the bigger trucks as well. If you change the guts to a regular bezel, it will work fine. I would get them if I were you, provided the junkyard you go to isn't like the ones in my area. You know, where every little part is made of gold and worth a minimum of $25.

I bought the whole cab complete with front end with an amazing dash cluster in it for $75.00 CA picked up. It has tach, vac. and all of the nice goodies out of a c-60. All I am going to do is reuse my existing c10 gas gauge.
