Anyone ever heard of a.....
427 BBC in one of our trucks... Factory as an option????, I just got the restoration packet and it was talking about a 427 BBC, it looks like they detuned it a hell of a lot, it says only 225 net horses, and only 365 net torque check it out.....

There is a truck at some nascar place and it has 427 badges...I highly doubt it is original, but there is a chance that the COPO made a hand full of 427 powered truck. None have been documented that we know of however. |

The 366's and 427's in the big trucks also had the over run governer mounted under the carb, maybe that's why it doesn't have a lot of HP and torque.

awww man! I'd bet that truck doesn't have more than a few hundred miles on it...was it a pace truck for a race??? I'd LOVE to get my hands on that baby. Funny, but I actually like that spoiler and the tube grill....might have to be careful driving it when it rains though....

The C-60 that I just bought has the 427 emblems on the side of the hood. I didn't realize that they put out such little power though.
