69 motor mounts and 76 motor mounts
I parted out a 76 with small block and I notice a diff. in motor mounts to my 69 with a 350. The 76 has the long bolt that runs front to rear. Are these usable in a 69 ( bolt in ) or not????
Thanks, DaVE |

No. You will have to use '69 style motor mounts. Your '69 frame stands will not accept the '76 style motor mounts. I don't think you can swap in the frame stands off the '76, either.

I follow you! Thanks for the info. Saves me a lot of wasted trial and error. The long bolt style looked easier is why I wondered.
Thanks, Dave |

With drilling a couple of holes and puting some spacers on the frame they will work but you have to use the whole thing towers and all

My 74 bb stands wouldnt bolt in because the 74 1/2ton had a taller frame. But I had a set of 73 sb stands and they bolted right into my 70. Also my 454 bolts right into the 73 stands and the headers clear.
