AM Radio Removal...?'s...

Is there some trick to taking out the old stocker am delco radios? I dont want to damage it, as it is in great condition, but I cant seem to figure it out. I took the black knobs off but from there it seems like the trim rings behind the black knobs just spin, isnt there usually some nuts on these posts? Seems simple enough, but I cant seem to "get 'er done"!

you have to pull the trims rings off first(pull hard) then behind them are the nuts and baskets that hold the radio in. There is also a bracket with a bolt in it on the back of the radio. hard to get to, but if you pull out glovebox its easily reached. Randy

It's easier if you drop the heater control unit down also.
