Why we all need 500+ horsepower
The ultimate yard work tool - pulling stumps!
I think the drag radials really helped out too

I was VERY lucky. All I lost was an already damaged windshield. No sheet metal was damaged. More importantly nothing on me was damaged. It could have been a lot worse.

I wanna see more pictures too - especially pictures of the backed - the lights in particular. Any chance of this happening? I also have '68 step, curious to see what others are doing.

You call that a stump?
Its good thing I don't have any pictures of some of the stuff we chained to the bumper on our C-10 (I re-inforced it 3 time so far ) No straps for me, heavy log chains and a 14" radial tire in the middle to take up the shock so you don't have one big rubber band............It is amazing on how much pull a radial tire will take

I love my stump pulller, I mean truck...all three of them have had there share at yanking out small to medium size stumps. Those oak trees are a bear when they get above 10-12" in diameter. Nice or not, trucks are fro work. Glad your using yours, and making it look good in the process!!!

Nice Work! I've done it too...
I came home from work to see my Dad sweatin' his balls off tryin to dig out this (small)shrub tree in our front yard. So I backed right up to him and the shrub tree and got out and said "let me try sumthin'", pulled the tow rope outta the bed, wrapped it around the shrub and hooked to the trailer hitch. Pulled it down into 1 and pulled off with it in 2wd. A 30 second job... My Dad said he was diggin most of the afternoon tryin to pull it out by hand I love My Truck...even better when I get to use it (even if I didn't have to put it into 4wd).

That's why you never pull a stump out instead you rock the vehicle and "work" it out. You also throw a utility blanket over the straps so that it absorbs the tension if it were to break...
