I used my stock fan shroud with a flex-a-lite black magic fan.....

What sort of CFM's do you need to get from the fan? What are the advantages, if any, of a double fans over a single? I'd like to switch myself since my shroud is broken and the truck tends to run hot. I also like the idea of not having a fan spinning around in the engine compartment so I can safely do some adjusting under the hood.

the black magic fan pulls 2800 cfm, which was the highest (for a single fan) I could find when I installed it about 3 years ago...not sure about the dual fan setup...

Heres a pic of wes's dual fan setup with a stainless steel shroud on my 69, they work great.
