Thumbs up Look what I found in the glovebox

I bought this truck about 6 weeks ago and finally went through the papers in the glovebox. Along with original sales receipt (4 copies), were receipts of a remanufactured motor from "LOMAC",Washington (40k miles ago) and a rebuilt tranny from AAMCO (13k miles ago) I wasn't told about these.

sweet.
I'm thinking the GMC stuff isn't being reproduced either, so that makes this an ever better score.

definitely a plus to get all that documentation. I've got all kinds of info on my 81Z. It's supposed to have been local it's entire life, but I couldn't find the original owners name in the phone book. I might dig further one day and see if I can locate him. As far as the truck goes, I can't even read the glovebox sticker except for Heavy Duty Clutch.

Lucky you! That is the exact items that I was shorted on my 72 GMC. I wish I could buy a set like that...... If you ever find any you want to sell give a jingle.

Awesome.......the only original thing in the glovebox of my Chevy was the glovebox. Wasn't the protect o plate supposed to be given to the new owner every time the truck was sold?

my truck didn't have a glovebox liner, or door. Along with a few hundred other missing parts.
