AMAZING Original GMC TG---You have to see this!

I'm crossing over from the 67-72 Board, because I want to show you this. It is an original 65 TG pulled off a new truck to put on a "Tommy Lift" gate.
It has NO use! Look at the paint. The dealer's decal in the middle is bright & clear. This TG has been in the warehouse since it was new.
...and look at the hardware: chains w/covers, bolts, & trunions
It can be bought---for what it is worth. It is worth about three times what a Taiwan repro is worth.
It is not for the average truck, so please don't be insulted, but it is what you are looking for if you are building a fully restored, top caliber show truck.
The tailgate sells for $700 and the hardware package $100 (not separating), plus packing & shipping.

Even if it is a little rich for your taste...wasn't it cool to see?

Wow, a guy north of here had one off a 69 GMC Custom cab(woodgrain band) that was taken off for a camper. He sold it for $600. That's by far the nicest 60-66 I've ever seen. Brian

That is one nice tailgate. If I had it it would be hanging on the living room wall.
