I am assuming your bumper is painted and not chromed, correct? Fit it on the truck the way you want with the bolts tightened very well to the bumper. Take the bumper off from the frame side and if you want to ship it to me I will shave the bumper for you no charge but you would have to ship it to me back and forth. Just offering my help. I am a certified bodyman by the way.

My chrome bumper is bent so i will need a new one. I was thinking that i would pay someone to have one purchased and then they could shave it and prep it for paint and ship it back all at my expense including some $ for their time and expenses. If you would be interested in doing something like that then PM me a price and i can paypal you the money and you can ship it back to me when you get it done.

I would be willing to do that but the only snag is fitting it to your truck before you weld the brackets to the backside of the bumper as I have worked on old cars for a long time and none of them fit the same for some reason. The way I have shaved bumpers in the past is fit them, bolted them down tight, tack welded the brackets to the backside of the bumper and then removed the bumper and finished welding the brackets to the bumper and removed the bolts and filled those holes last and bodywork and prime.
