Rearend parts ordered...heads-up!!!
Hi guys...Well I ordered all the parts needed to rebuild my rearend differential from an outfit in Las Vegas, NV and www.drivetrain.com came through with flying colors!!! 3 days after I ordered from them on their 800 # my parts were at the door. They have FULL tech support and completely guarantee what they sell. I upgraded and bought the top of the line Motive "Bluebox" 3.73 gears along with a series 4 Eaton posi and the Motive complete bearing kit. This Tuesday a local shop will do the install of the new rear end parts!
Just a report of a good place to buy rear end parts!!! Oh...and cost was....$599 and some small change delivered to my door!!!

Looks great, that rearend should last another 30+ years!

I'm looking at taking some gear out of my truck, post some feedback after the install if you don't mind.

hey guys...Just an update here!!! A positive one!!! I found a shop called
A-1 Differential close by in Westminster, CO. AAA towed my truck over to them yesterday morning around 9am...and I got a phone call at 3:00 pm telling me the rearend was rebuilt everything is perfect and come pick up your truck. So I got my truck back yesterday after paying $340 for labor to rebuild the the rearend, he also installed new axel seals and bearings. Here's how it adds up.....$599.00 complete gears, seals, Eaton posi + 340.00 labor and axel seals/bearings..or $939.00. That is a huge saving from the original quote of $1600.00. I am happy and the truck is running very well!

Hey Chevydude-
Whats up with the 2wd. I haven't seen much of it on here lately. Are you done with all the lowering you were doing. Got any new pics.

Kinda set the 2wd down for the winter. Lowering is done....engine to be put in soon. It's been really cold in the garage here and I wanted to take some time away from the 2wd. I am getting ready to do some more work on her as the temps start to warm up in CO.

Thanks for the update ChevyDude. I'll look into that drivetrain web address you gave.
