winch recommendations

I am looking for a winch since I got a 1ton dodge dually stuck last week. I am looking for 8-9k lbs+. Also looking for receiver type mount, since it will see double duty in a car trailer also, something I can chain down and mount to receiver. Not looking to go broke...Any recommendations?? Ramsey/Warn/Superwinch/Mile Marker?? Trying top avoid the Harbor Freight types if I can help it. Thanks

Rodnok; We run a Warn XD9000i 9000 lb. winch on the front of our grass fire truck mounted on a receiver plate and hardwired at each end. This is on a '95 F*#d F250 with about 1500 lbs of water and equipment in the box. This Warn unit is in the middle of the pack for price and has taken everything we have given it so far. We purchased the winch, mounting plate, wiring kit, front and rear receiver hitches and accessory kit [tree saver strap, chain, snatchblock, gloves, etc.] for about $2300.00 three years ago. This was purchased through Four Wheel Parts Wholesale (hitches were purchased locally). I have read some threads of some 4WPW customers who are less than happy with this company but our sale went well. We also invested in a Pul-Pal portable anchor which has been used a few times when in the middle of a field and nothing to anchor to. These are a nice anchor.
