brakes

i sure hope i can get some input....i lost brakes on my 1986 gmc 1/2 ton full size pick up...we have replaced the master, all brake lines and the porpotion valve...i still have no brakes.....its not holding pressure......we've tried everything we can think of...any ideas?

Not to overlook the obvious, but did you bleed the master cylinder when you installed it? Good luck and keep on truckin'!......Jerry

sure did and not only that but the porportin valve is only working for the front barkes and not the back....we've bleed everything...
Thanks for your input tho....any more ideas?

Do you have any pedal at all, or is it spongy?

get a pedal about 1/2 way through then goes to floor .....it dosnt seem to hold any pressure.....were thinking maybe the vacuum?...i am at my witts end...look me up on yahoo IM....maybe we can come up with something.
