clutch fan

I have a clutch fan. it sits in a pile of parts, it was on a motor at one time while in my posestion but now how do I know if its any good?, so is there a bench test for clutch fans, and why is it only have 3 blades

Check the fan clutch for signs of leakage. If it is wet, I would not use it. You can rotate the fan on the clutch and if it turns easy, don't use it.

Fan clutches can go bad just sitting. The three blade fan probably won't push enough air to work on these trucks.
