Tire opinion
Posted this on the Message Board, thought I'd ask here also. Time to replace the tires on my Blazer, has 33X12.5 on it. Blazer is use 95% on road. I am looking for something with good manners on the paVement. The ones on it aren't bad, Remington Wide Brute.

I'd consider the ProComp all terrains. They have a 50,000 mile warranty. http://4wheelparts.com/ sells them and they have a sale (surpise) going on right now...

Hard to go wrong w/ Goodrich BFG AT or Goodyear AT.

I agree with the BFG All Terrains. They wear really nice, and are good on and off the pavement.

I have run 2 sets before, the M/T's and the A/T's with no complaints. I plan to buy another set (A/T's) soon for my Blazer.

i had a set of 35x12.50x15 pro comp mud terrains and i loved them. they weren't loud on the road, they wore really nice. that sale they have going on now is a really good sale. add up the totals for 4 of the pro comp tires and judge that against 4 other tires. then consider the warranty on the pro comps. isn't it like 50 or 60 k miles? when i get around to finally getting new tires i will probably go with pro comp muds again.

I run a set of ProComp Xterrains on my Cherokee (DD). I like the tires, I think they have great looks and they are wearing really well. Have about 20k on them. My son has the ProComp Mud Terrains on his Cherokee. Wear on them is also very good. Only issue is my Xterrains seem to be noisier than the Mud Terrains, especially at low, 5 -10 mph, speed. I get some vibration through the front end at such low speeds. I was thinking of getting the Xterrains for my Jimmy also but am a little hesitant because of the vibration/noise. But the Cherokee is a much lighter vehicle so maybe they'd be smoother on the Jimmy.
