Correct Shade of black for a steering collum?

What is the correct shade of black to paint a steering collum?

Tilts are flat black.

Non-tilts are gloss black.

The correct color is the color YOU like.

Black was coded 9000 which is like a semi gloss. The column was painted the same as black metal door panels.

i was thinking of a glossier (if thats even a word) black because the rest of my interior is black

GM did a "percent" gloss black specification and I could not find the percent
for the column paint but if you look at the metal door panels that is the black they used on the columns. They varied the percent gloss depending on the application.

I use the Rustoleum "Painters Touch" semi-gloss black on mine. Looks pretty good and dry's fast...
