Uhh, replaced broken header collector gasket. I love laying in the gutter when it's raining.

My weekend was spent at the Denver Convention center watching the top volleyball teams in the country compete at a shot for a Junior Olympic bid. Unfortunately my daughters team didn't make it.

I did get to take a trip up in the mountains on Sunday though. That was a nice change of scenery....

No some locals where ice fishing. At least they were until we showed up making noise and acting like tourists. The lady on the ice is our team coach, who is the senior setter for U of H. She is from Brazil and has never seen snow or a frozen lake before. She thought it was pretty cool....

Put new rear crossmembers and tank crossmembers in a NBS I had bagged in Aug of last year. We also got about 3/4 way done putting in a raised/sectioned tranny crossmember. Gonna install a pair of stainless tanks and raise the gas tank.

Resealed my cowl area, there was some slight surface rust if you looked up through towards the windshield. This is a typical area for these trucks to rust through and it's a PITA to repair once you have holes. I removed the loose paint and found no flaky rust just very fine powder rust. I then used POR to cover it, normally I don't like to cover rust and I want it gone but this area isn't visible and POR does a good job on light surface rust. I then resealed the cowl seam although mine wasn't rotted or leaking in any way but better be safe than sorry. After the por set up slightly I painted the area flat black

This is not a job for someone with big hands, I have scrapes and cuts all over my arms



I also scored a spare brake booster. I took it apart, blasted the shells and dumped those and the diaphragm discs off at the local galvanising plant, I opted to have it yellow chromate plated, same as the hood hinges, struts and latching hardware
