WTB Need Pigtail:
I need this but with longer leads...which probably means it will have to be cut back into the harness.
Its the female side of the "horseshoe" plug for the column anyone got a junk harness (i'll buy the whole thing or just this part) I need it with @ least 12" of wire...if not more...preferably more. Like i said i'll buy a whole harness if i have to and cut it up. or does anyone know how i can get those leads out and get longer ones in? do they make new clips to slid in for each individual wire? Thanks, it's for my hot rod but i don't want to splice wires together to get them to the fuse block.

I just tossed a column in the junk trailer out of my 69 GMC. Still available if I go out there with a pair of dykes.

Go in from the plug side and there is a small tang you can unlatch with a tiny screwdriver. You can then remove the wire from the plug without cutting it. Don't know if that helps you or not.

i have the gm part number somewhere. i bought 16 last week for a 68 camaro "same ones" . they were .74 cents a peice.
i'll get back to you. ondrew edit: i allmost forgot. the old wires come out of the plug from the front and the new ones slide in from the back. a little flat head screwdriver will make this alot easier. Last edited by roj2323; 03-25-2005 at 08:31 PM. |
