Question ? about Street Avenger carb

Anybody own a Holley Street Avenger carb. If so, how do you like it. I'm thinking of buying a new and wanted to know what others think or have heard about them. Thanks

I don't own one and I doubt anyone else on this board does because for one, they're pretty d@mn expensive, and two, it's just a big sales gimmick (in my opinion). I don't like the electric choke or vaccum secondaries, never have, and the only obvious advantage for off-road i could see was the bent overflow tube... so you're paying 300andsomething dollars for really a piece you can just buy in a kit and add to any other Holley they make. I'm running a 650 Holley (PN4777) and had some trouble climbing hills at first with the fuel spilling and bogging down the engine so i just lowered the float levels and it's fine now. If I have further troubles then I'll get a spring-loaded needle and seat for about $15. Now that's a better deal.

Hope this helps

Have a friend in Oklahoma that put one on his 350 and he said it was a night and day difference from his q-jet.
