Steering wheel color with parchment trim?

I can't seem to find a light brown sterring wheel for my 72. Question is: was a black steering wheel and dash originally offered with the off white panels/visors etc?.

Probably not a non-tilt column but all OE tilts were black and came with a black wheel, so it won't look "wrong" IMO.

As for the dash pad, all 72 Highlander package equipped trucks I've seen came with parchment trim with Black dashs pads and black carpet. So yes, black is a good compromise.

Here's a small pic from the 72 Highlander brochure

My 72 Highlander has the parchment vinyl/ orange plaid seat, with parchment door panels and sunvisors. The dashpad, steering wheel and column are all black.

yes black was offered. I have off white panels, headliner, visors and a parchment seat in my 72. The carpet, dash pad and steering wheel are all black.
I don't have any good pictures of the whole interior but maybe these will help.

I have a parchment interior in my Blazer and the column and dash pad are lt. brown. I think the higher trim models offered the black, the base model was the brown.

I thought that GMC's with parchment had Black wheel and dash pad and Chev's with parchment had the light brown/puddy color.

I have a couple light brown wheels if your interested. I think they both have cracks, but would work for a driver.

My Chevy has parchment seat/panels/visors and black carpet/dashpad/steering wheel. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a stock tilt column and wheel that wasn't black...
