Shock Measurements
I know this has been asked many times before, but I dont think many people gave input. Can you all list your extended and collapsed shock measurements, how much your truck was lowered, and what shocks (part #, model) you bought. Im trying to get measurements so I can buy the right ones.
This could be a good FAQ thread for people with lowered trucks

Hi there,
I bought a complete kit from CPP with drop shocks.. at fullextent they measure: 14 inches mount eye centre to centre At full compress they measure: 9 inches mount eye centre to centre called CPP tech support told them set up ad they recommended these for a match for rest of kit,,, They are:doetsch tech shocks P/n DT4809G but haven't fitted them yet to try them out.. few more jobs to get around to.... sorry forgot to add these are to be used with 4 inch drop coil springs.. I'm lifting my truck back up a bit..... front will be 1" drop spring with 2.5" drop spindles using same shocks all round.....

Use your stock shocks on a 1' drop spring, spindles do not effect shocks.
