Rebuilt rear end, seals, brakes, cylinders, drums, cables, 2 inch drop springs, even found wheels from another board member. Put the cross member on cut the front springs 2 inches, new ball joints, tie rod ends, bearings, seals pads. All this was done in the last week. Next working on the motor and trans, just need motor stands for 8 cyl. Have a friend who is looking for some to donate.

What did you use to paint the frame? Looks sharp!

We sandblasted the frame, primed, then painted with Nasons chassis black. That stuff is awsome (approx $30 gallon). Spray right out of the can. I'll have more pics soon, The motor has been primed, base coated, and cleared. Just got the bolts. I need to get a better camera.

Thanks, you guys are great. Yes, call me crazy but I am building this for my son, his first truck. I started out driving a 1970 short step. He will start out with a 1970 short wide. He has been doing a lot of work along the way. He's attached to the wire wheel and a lot of rags.
Scoti, we ended up cutting the original springs, yours seamed to be to low, I mean we would have to get drop spindles to use them. Thanks though, I get back with ya at Stoked.

There's nothing crazy about helping him build his first truck. He will have so much more appreciation for that truck and you.
