Wanted - 1967 dash

Hi All,

I have my truck almost ready to paint (suppose to go in on Thursday) and while I was finishing up some small details, I noticed that there are quite a few gouges in the metal of my dash (meaning that I must have drank too many beers one night, and attacked my dash incorrectly).

So rather then coating the front of my dash with bondo, it will be easier for me to remove this dash and put in a new dash.

So, does anyone have a true 1967 dash (Air or not, does not matter) that they have sitting around that I can buy like in the next two days?????

Man, how bad did you "attack" it. A little bondo isn't the worst thing you could do. ......Jerry

It has enough damage that I would need to skin the entire center section, and to reshape the corners of all of the contoured areas. Even some heavy coats of high solids primer would not fix this....

Had my painter come and look at the dash, and he says it is not that bad and he would be able to fix it without me having to get another dash.

For me, I hate bodywork, so I may have been a little bais and in my case, I can cut and weld sheetmetal better then I can do bodywork.

So, all is well and I go at lunch to buy all of my paint, and later today, the cab and doors get loaded into the trailer and onto the paint shop!!!!!!!!
