Free Year One catalog

Not sure if you guys are interested but Year One http://www.yearone.com/ is offering their $10.00 67-87 chevy truck for free for a limited time. Some of there parts are pricey but I thought you may be interested to know. I got mine yesterday.

Here's a direct link to the catalog porder page. Took me forever to find it:

http://www.yearone.com/live/singlepa...logs.asp?cat=A

You need to create an account to order one - nothing is free.

Thanks for the heads-up. They're right down the road from me.

i have one and i dont think ive ever seen a part in it that i could not find cheaper ANYWHERE else. I guess it would be useful as a reference tool if you wanted to find out how much someone could possibly charge for something but i would advise anyone to check with any of the board vendors first before ordering anything from year1.

Hehe, I was looking at the valve covers (I want a chrome one for my inline). $43 for one. I think the local parts store sells for $27

But, I mean ... there are SOME things that are cheaper at Year One. You just gotta look at the smaller stuff. They also carry some items other people don't.

I only use YearOne and a couple of others catalog's as PURE reference. I made that discovery the hard way by ordering something from YearOne and it turned out to be "Import" Crap!!
They function and do the trick, but from now on, I'll ask before I buy and I'll find it cheaper somewhere else.
I agree with you about our Board Vendors.
