air in line
i keep getting air in my driver front brake line when i bleed the brakes. i can not find ant leaks all the other brakws worked find any help would be great

tried some russell speed bleeders, works for a one man job and has a ball that closes when the line feels a vacuum(ie pedal going back up), should maybe be $20 total

i got a bleeder lit and clear hose and i see is a ir in the line every time i bleed the brakes only the driver side . and i have power brakes if that matteres

I had a hydraulic clutch on a bike 'ingest' air over a day or two, and the source of the leak turned out to be the hose, where the end crimped onto the hose. I could bleed the clutch, but a day later, there was no clutch due to the air. Replaced the line with a braided steel line, and no more trouble.

If Your hoses have never been replaced,they are 27 years old.New lines are a wise investment.Braided lines will make a difference in the braking.
